A quick burst of snow on Thursday could affect the evening commute, followed by a more significant system possible for the weekend.
A clear sky remains early this morning with lighter winds around 5-15 MPH throughout southeast Minnesota and North Iowa. Temperatures have fallen to the mid to upper 20s. Clouds and winds will increase throughout the day with southerly gusts up to 40 MPH expected this afternoon and evening.
