In India, tigers and leopards often share the same forests, but tigers are much stronger and more dominant. When a tiger chases a leopard, it’s usually about territory. Tigers are very territorial and don’t like other big predators in their space. If a leopard enters a tiger’s territory, the tiger might chase it away to protect its hunting ground.
